Our Doctors
Dr. Dawne Lazar is a native of
Jacksonville and a fifth-generation Floridian. She grew up in the
Northeast, and returned to Florida to complete her B.A. and B.S.
degrees before entering the University of Florida College of Veterinary
Medicine. She Received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in
1982 and has practiced in the Jacksonville area since that time.
Her special interests include internal medicine and veterinary
acupuncture. In her free time, Dr. Lazar avidly tries to develop
her skills in dressage, also known as dancing with your horse, and she
enjoys training her dogs. Her husband, Steve, is an architect. She has two sons, Matt and Codi. Matt is at the University of Florida and hopes to be accepted into the Physician's Assistant program. Codi, his wife, Wendy, and their two children, Bix and Silver, live in Washington, D.C.
